Shea + Oat Shampoo Bar | Unscented, Sulfate-Free for Sensitive Scalp

If your scalp is easily irritated and most shampoo feels like too much, this is the bar for you. Gentle, sulfate-free cleansing with shea butter and colloidal oatmeal, no added fragrance, and it conditions as it washes — one bar, one step, done.

“Unscented” means no added fragrance from essential oils. The ingredients themselves have a soft natural scent.

What's in it, and why

• Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate: A gentle, mild cleanser with a rich, creamy lather. Sulfate-free, works well even in hard water, biodegradable, 100% natural origin (coconut derived).
• Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSa): A mild, sulfate-free cleanser that performs well in hard water. Derived from coconut and palm oils, and chosen specifically because it's gentle. ECOcert and Natural Product Association approved.
• Cocamidopropyl Betaine: An extremely gentle coconut-derived cleanser that also conditions hair and skin.
• Behentrimonium Methosulfate + Cetearyl Alcohol (BTMS 25): A mild emulsifying wax from colza plant oil. Excellent for detangling, and it leaves the hair shaft with real body and spring.
• Cetyl Alcohol: A fatty acid from RSPO-certified sustainable palm oil that lubricates and softens skin and hair.
• Shea Butter: A favorite for sensitive scalps — helps hair feel soft and improves the look of dry ends.
• Panthenol Powder: A humectant that helps lock moisture into the hair shaft, leaving hair feeling soft and looking smooth.
• Colloidal Oatmeal: Gently exfoliates and leaves the scalp feeling calm and comfortable.
• Hydrolyzed Rice Protein: Helps boost hair volume and adds natural shine.
• Arrowroot Powder: Absorbs excess moisture and freshens up the appearance of hair strands.
• Rice Flour: A very fine flour that helps hair look smooth and feel silky.
• TriStat Eco Preservative: A nature-identical preservative that keeps the bar itself fresh. ECOcert and NPA approved for natural and organic cosmetics.

Directions

Rub the bar directly onto wet hair to build up a lather. Wash hair and scalp, then rinse. Repeat if needed — we usually recommend it.

Let the bar dry completely between washes and it'll last much longer.

Each bar weighs about 3.2 oz (90 g). Handmade, so appearance varies slightly from bar to bar.
