Rosemary + Thyme Hair Balm

This lightweight, nourishing, yet silky balm can be used as a leave-in conditioning product or can be used as a wash-out hair mask. It’s the perfect companion to the Rosemary + Thyme Hair Serum (which is more of a scalp serum that is best washed out). This hair balm is specifically formulated to absorb quickly, making it a great choice for a leave-on conditioner for the ends of your hair.

Ingredients

Camellia Seed Oil has long been used in Japan for hair health due to its many benefits. It can help soften hair, restore its natural sheen, provide a protective barrier against environmental pollutants, help repair split ends, and retain moisture.

Jojoba Oil is close to our skin’s natural sebum and can help moisturize hair, control frizz, and treat heat damage.

Stearic Acid is used in many hair products to help smooth and condition the hair, coating the hair shaft and giving it protection without making it dull or heavy.

Coconut Oil is one of the only oils that can penetrate the hair shaft and helps reduce breakage, moisturizes the hair, and protects it from environmental damage.

Shea Butter is full of fatty acids and vitamins to help nourish the hair, provide protection for the hair shaft, and to help control frizz.

A natural cationic (having a positive charge) and conditioning agent called BTMS 50 is used in this hair balm to help resist wash-off and also leaves a soft, powdery feel on the hair. It leaves the hair with noticeable body and spring and is extremely mild. This ingredient is derived from the natural plant oil Colza.

Beeswax helps smooth and protect hair strands and helps moisturize the hair. It is also used in hair care products to thicken the product for ease of application.

Cetyl Alcohol is used as an emulsifying agent that adds some “slip” to the hair and moisturize. It is derived from natural resources and also acts as an emulsifying agent.

Vitamin E supports a healthy scalp and hair strands since it is a natural antioxidant. It helps protect against free radicals as well.

Rosemary Essential Oil helps provide both hair thickness and growth and improves cellular generation within the hair and scalp.

Thyme Essential Oil can help promote hair growth and stimulates the scalp.

Lavender Essential Oil can also help promote hair growth and is antimicrobial.

Himalayan Cedarwood Essential Oil helps rebalance the natural oils in your hair and helps cleanse the hair and maintain a healthy scalp.

Directions

Apply a very small amount and work into mid-length and ends of hair. Can be left in for additional moisture or washed out. Works well with dry or damp hair alike.

Each hair balm tin contains about 2.1oz or 60g each. These hair balms do not contain a preservative, so please avoid getting water into the tin. Since these are handmade, there may be slight variations in appearance.
