Most of us wash our hair and stop there. The scalp is where it all starts, though, and it usually gets the least attention.
This is the pair that covers both: the serum goes on first and does the nourishing, then the bar washes it out and leaves your hair clean without stripping it.
Both products are scented with the same Rosemary + Thyme essential oil blend — rosemary, thyme, lavender and cedarwood. Fresh and herbal up front, with lavender bringing a soft floral note and cedarwood a warm, woody base underneath. Green and garden-fresh rather than sharp, and still faintly there once your hair dries. The scent is the thing customers tell me about most — it's the compliment I hear over and over.
If you've tried a shampoo bar before and ended up with that squeaky, tangled feeling, this one is different. It's sulfate-free but it still lathers properly, and one bar lasts two to three months or more depending on how often you wash.
What's Inside
- Rosemary + Thyme Hair Serum, argan and pumpkin seed oil in a lightweight blend, scented with the rosemary, thyme, lavender and cedarwood essential oils. This one goes on before you wash. Work it into your scalp and through the lengths, then leave it to soak in.
- Rosemary + Thyme Shampoo Bar, sulfate-free and good for all hair types, carrying that same rosemary, thyme, lavender and cedarwood blend. Aloe vera and shikakai do the conditioning work, so it rinses clean without that stripped feeling. No bottle, no leaks, and it travels well.
How To Use
Start with the serum, on dry hair. A few drops into your scalp, then comb it through to the ends.
Now leave it alone. Thirty minutes will do it, and overnight is better if you have the time.
When you're ready, wet your hair and wash it out with the bar. Lather it in your hands or rub it straight onto your hair, whichever you like. Go through twice the first time, since there's oil to lift.
