Ethylhexyl Olivate:  This natural silicone alternative is made from olive oil and contains nourishing compounds to help support healthy hair and skin. It helps soften hair by adding a protective film and reducing greasiness. It is a low-viscosity emollient (a preparation that softens or smooths) that helps leave the hair shaft feeling soft and protected.

Coco Caprylate Caprate:  This natural emollient is derived from renewal feedstocks and is an alternative to silicones or other synthetic emollients. It has a fast-spreading, low greasiness application to help provide a protective coating to the hair and helps disperse the hair mist more evenly.

Isopropyl Myristate:  This vegetable-derived emollient is light and non-tacky, helping give shine and gloss to the hair. It helps disperse the essential oils in the hair mist as well.

Argan Oil: This carrier oil is great for its conditioning and anti-aging properties. It is full of vitamin E and essential fatty acids, which helps the hair retain moisture and smooths the hair cuticle, helping to reduce frizz. It can also help protect the hair shaft against heat and environmental damage. Argan oil also can help reduce hair breakage and split ends by strengthening the hair shaft and improving its elasticity.

Neossance Hemisqualane (C13-15 Alkane):  This natural silicone alternative is GMO-free and sugar based . It is light and helps create an elegant texture with a silky light feel, leaving the hair feeling soft and velvet-like. It is ECO-cert approved and a USDA Certified 100% Biobased Product that is biodegradable. It helps reduce hair frizz and helps seal the hair cuticle, restoring the natural structure of the hair. It also can help prevent against heat damage and improves the hair strength and elasticity.

Rosemary Essential Oil: Rosemary has anti-inflammatory properties, promotes nerve growth, and improves circulation; therefore, it is believed to help stimulate hair growth and health. In one study, it was pitted against Rogaine and was shown to have similar effectiveness in preventing hair loss (and it helped with the side effect of an itchy scalp!). It has also been studied several times and is believed to have significant hair growth potential.

Lavender Essential Oil: Studies show that Lavender may help promote hair growth and curb scalp inflammation and dryness.

Thyme Essential Oil: Thyme has been shown to help promote hair growth by stimulating the scalp and preventing hair loss. It also has been found to be helpful in treating alopecia areata.

Cedarwood Essential Oil: It is thought that Cedarwood may help promote hair growth and reduce hair loss due to its antifungal and antibacterial properties. It can also help balance the oil-producing glands in the scalp.

Vitamin E: This product also contains vitamin E, which is high in antioxidants and promotes blood circulation, which can delay wrinkles and is nourishing to the skin and hair.

Details

This hair mist should have a shelf life of 1 year or more. These do not contain a preservative due to the absence of water. Please keep the bottle clean and dry and store away from direct sunlight.

Each bottle contains 2 fl oz (60ml). Since these are handmade, there will be variations from what is pictured in size or appearance.
